We tackled one of the biggest challenges facing digital platforms with the launch of Live Comments. This innovative feature takes the fear out of live chat by incorporating reliable AI moderation, allowing organisations to foster genuine community interaction without the resource drain or risk traditionally associated with live chat.
A preview of Loyalty Layer
In February, we unveiled a preview of Monterosa Loyalty Layer, a new solution that fundamentally changes how organisations reward fans for their attention. Built on a decade of game development expertise, this flexible loyalty infrastructure goes beyond traditional retail-inspired systems to deliver gaming mechanics that truly resonate with sports and entertainment audiences.
The Loyalty Layer offers unprecedented flexibility, allowing organisations to configure and segment Campaigns and choose any combination of metrics-based or inventory-based Rewards. Whether it's badges, coins, trophies, or discount codes for merchandise and tickets, brands can engage fans in ways that feel authentic to their community. With powerful automation capabilities through the Control API and Loyalty API, everything from setting challenges to rewards redemption can be automated and integrated seamlessly.

Analytics: Gain deeper visibility across every level - Organisation, Space, Project, Event and Element. Our redesigned Analytics dashboard is your foundation for data-driven decision-making, allowing you to filter based on a certain time frame and see comparisons to previous periods.
Welcome guides: Discover bite-sized video walkthroughs that show exactly how to launch and manage your Experiences. Whether you're new to using Studio or a seasoned pro, these guides will take you through everything you need to know, making onboarding a breeze.
Enhanced embedding: We're making embedding Experiences into your existing pages smoother than ever, reducing setup time and complexity. You'll find more robust UI settings and supporting documentation to guide you through.
Tools: We can now integrate critical external content, such as short training courses, instructional documentation, dashboards, or custom tools right into your Studio experience. Whether it’s organisation-wide resources or customer-specific tools, embedded content will only be visible to users with the appropriate permissions, ensuring the right level of access and data security

Customer Launches: Powering some of sport and entertainment's biggest moments
NBA Paris Jam: interactive in-stadium innovation
In January, we powered live, in-stadium voting for NBA Paris Jam, the basketball event that brings together celebrities, influencers, and NBA legends. Monterosa powered live voting during the game, where fans could determine what happened on court, with live vote results fed back into on screen graphics. This activation demonstrated how Monterosa can extend fan engagement beyond digital into live, in-person experiences.
Fanatics Free to Play: Transforming sports gaming in the US
One of the year's most significant partnerships saw us continue our work with Fanatics to expand the comprehensive suite of Free to Play games for sports fans across the US. As part of this, we launched Fanatics Survivor - a high stakes free-to-play, season-long game where participants make weekly picks to outlast the competition. Players select one NFL team per week to win outright, with no point spreads. Each team can only be picked once per season, requiring strategic planning throughout the 18-week regular season.
ITV's Flagship Properties
We continued our longstanding partnership with ITV, powering the interactive experiences for some of British television's biggest shows. I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! returned for its milestone 25th series with 10.3 million viewers, making it the biggest TV overnight of the year outside of national and sporting events. The app, powered by Monterosa / Interaction Cloud, delivered polls, quizzes, exclusive clips, sponsor activations, and integrated eCommerce through the ITV Shop.
Love Island also returned with another successful season, maintaining its position as one of ITV's most interactive and commercially successful properties. The app helped keep the young audience hooked throughout the series, over-delivering on all key audience, commercial, and sponsor objectives.
NASCAR's In-Season Bracket Challenge
We expanded our motorsports portfolio by powering NASCAR's innovative In-Season Bracket Challenge, giving fans new ways to predict and engage. Featuring integrated betting odds from partner DraftKings.
European Tour Group at the British Masters
In the golf world, we powered fan engagement at the British Masters for the European Tour Group, demonstrating the versatility of our platform across different sports and event formats.

We were honoured to be shortlisted as a Finalist for Best in Fan Engagement with NBA at the Sports Technology Awards, recognising our work in creating immersive, interactive experiences for basketball fans globally.
