NBA ran a series of votes throughout the night which gave the fans to vote on the challenges that happened during the quarter breaks and the format of the final quarter - giving the fans the chance to make a difference in the game. 

QR codes were shown on the big screen which encouraged fans to take part, with results being fed into graphics.
